With Expedia, can I leave this flesh?

Can I get a round-trip ticket?

Just my soul, to the land of extraordinary? Not ordinary.

“I don’t want to be like the others”,

I’m afraid to blend in. Magazine copies, carbon copies– Who am I meant to be?

But then I heard from a pastor:

“You were fearfully and wonderfully made by God–

You’re already so special. Why are you trying to change?”

Walls broke down,

I was caged by a mock community.

I was trapped in a virtual world, where lives were represented by feeds.

Here I am now, and Here’s to a round trip to authentic self-discovery.
